To make something of my life.
This may be more difficult than it sounds,
since I haven't much to start with.
I'm working on it though, and with enough
persistance I believe I will accomplish
my vision.
Work is by definition difficult, though,
so how surprised should I be?
One must merely see past one's current
difficulties and look to the future.
Let no man say that he knows something,
for that man is mistaken.
Our concept of knowledge is based only on
faith, for who can say that there is
no change.
Let all know only this, the effort to know things
is futile.
Life is dynamic, for which knowledge makes
no allowance.
Seek that from which you will benefit,
not in knowledge or in wealth or in power,
but in wisdom and in strength of soul.
These things are yours, and
no one can take them from you.
Note to the reader: This text is from the plan section of my finger information from when I was in college. Finger is a tool used to provide information about a given user of a system, and the plan section is a general text section that describes your plan for accomplishing your current project, although my project at the time was "What good are projects, anyway?"
Note 2: Yes, I really did write this myself, although many I've shown it to have expressed doubt in that fact. It was even written during one of my more depressed periods, all though it has a much more positive tone than most of my writings.
